African Journal of Educational Research is a peer-reviewed journal jointly published by the Department of Arts and Social Sciences Education, Department of Early Childhood and Educational Foundation and Department of Science and Technology Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan. The journal is multi-disciplinary in nature, hence it publishes articles in various areas in the field of education and other related academic disciplines. The current edition (Volume 30) consists of articles published in December, 2024. There are altogether 12 well research articles and position papers by seasoned and upcoming scholars in general Education, Language and Social Sciences education. These papers are a reflection of the authors' central concern in promoting quality of education through quality research and publications. The Editorial Board of this journal is, therefore, pleased to release this edition as a vital contribution to the advancement of knowledge and scholarship, as it looks forward to the publication of subsequent editions in due course. Individuals, researchers, teachers, educators, counsellors, ministries and agencies saddled with the responsibility of addressing the problems of education would find the papers useful reference materials. In addition, postgraduate students pursuing masters and doctoral degree programmes in various fields of education, and who are currently in the stage of literature review for their projects and theses, would find AJER a rewarding companion.
